Brrrr! A chilly start to the day!

Grab the winter coat and maybe even some gloves, as the chilly air has arrived in SWFL! Temperatures this morning are running in the 40's across much of the area. The current temp in Ft. Myers is 46 degrees. The current temp in Punta Gorda is 41 degrees with a wind chill temperature of 38 degrees...brrr! Our surface wind will shift from the northeast this morning to the south then southwest this afternoon, allowing afternoon highs to warm into the low to mid 70's despite this cold start. (Cooler at beaches with highs in the upper 60's). Mostly sunny today with a few clouds this afternoon.
