Coming up at 5 AM: a tropical wave out in the east-central Atlantic, about 1000 miles west-southwest of the Cape Verde Islands, is close to becoming the season's fourth tropical depression (or storm, possibly). Also, expect another round of showers and storms across southwest Florida this afternoon; drier weather should move in a little later this week. I'll have the latest in just minutes!
