We are watching several fire burn across the area. Wind gusts have been in the low 20s today and temperatures in the low 90s. This does not help the fire situation around the region. The higher humidity does, dewpoints in the upper 60s and low 70s. This will help the firefighters as the breeze dies down later this evening. We are also watching a weak cold front that will move into SWFL by Thursday night into Friday morning. So far we are expecting about .25" to .50" of rain. The weekend is looking dry with less humidity, great to be outside but bad for fire weather!
