Well the cold front is moving through the area now. The rain came a couple of hours earlier than expected but either way much need rain for SWFL. Looking at rainfall totals, Ft. Myers .67", Naples .09", Punta Gorda .35", Cape Coral .24", Bonita Springs .40", Arcadia .60", and Port Charlotte .90". So on average, about .50" across the region. With the rain and a few storms we had some wind gusts in the 40mph range, some minor damage reported. A few power lines down and a few trees down as well.
Now that the front is working through, lower humidity will be moving in and some slighly cooler weather. However, hot weather just around the corner. 90s are expected into the weekend.
