Scott: Scattered storms, mainly inland moving north this evening. Tropics look quiet. Details at 5 with me on WINK!

Watching a few storms inland moving north. Most of the activity has been in our inland areas east of 75. Can rule out a few storms popping up near the beaches later.

 

The tropics are fairly quiet. What was left from Colin my try to reform. Either way just a feature to watch as is moves away from the US. A weak disturbance in the Caribbean will be moving into the Yucatan later tonight, bringing rain to them. The rest of the Atlantic looks unimpressive. long range charts show nothing until the 20th right now.. Things can change, but feeling good right now on a couple weeks of quiet tropical activity..
