We Need the Rain!

An area of strong high pressure off to our north will continue to bring in easterly winds between 15 - 20 mph, with higher gusts. This combined with a dry airmass will keep the the fire danger very high across Southwest Florida. Our dry pattern will hold into the first half of the weekend with daytime highs into the low 80s. A cold front on Sunday will bring scattered rain throughout the afternoon and evening hours, with drier conditions for the start of next week.
