Increasing Rain Chances

It's a warm and steamy start to our Wednesday morning! Temperatures are near the 80° mark this morning, with a heat index of 92° already being recorded in Cape Coral. We'll start off with a mostly sunny sky, with increasing clouds throughout the afternoon hours. The heat and humidity combined with the seabreeze this afternoon will trigger a few more showers & storms this afternoon with the best coverage across our inland communities before drifting back towards our coastal areas during the evening hours. Moisture will continue to increase on Thursday with scattered storms in the forecast through early next week.
