Car alarms sounded, dogs barked, and many were jolted out of sleep by a BOOM very early this morning! At just nearly 2:30 this morning, The Space Shuttle Endeavour passed directly overhead of SWFL with many of us hearing the resulting sonic BOOM quite loudly. Some hearing two separate and distinct booms. Booms were reported from Punta Gorda down to Marco Island and out to Muse! Thanks to our viewers that took the time very early this morning to e-mail WINK your observations!
Have a great day!
