A Few Storms Today, Drier for the Weekend!

After a mainly dry start to our Friday morning, clouds will continue to thicken up just a bit as we progress throughout the daytime hours leading to scattered showers and a few storms, especially across some of our inland areas. The remnants of an old frontal boundary along with a weak disturbance overhead, will generate the lift we need in the atmosphere to get some of these showers going. Conditions should start to quiet down tonight as a drier pattern settles in just in time to celebrate Mom! Mostly sunny conditions are in store for the Mother's Day weekend, with temperatures hovering in the upper 80s to near 90°. Enjoy!
