Scott: scattered storms moving west today. Tropics are still active.

Watching some rain moving thru coastal collier and lee counties now. Rain and storms moving west this evening. Expect the same pattern for tomorrow.

In the tropics, Colin may try to get organized again. Either way no threat to the USA. Staying well out to sea.

A wave in the Caribbean is moving to the west and this one looks like it will move into the yucatan by Friday or Saturday. Not much organization with this one yet. Once again looks like no threat to the USA. A large high will keep it south. The same high that is baking the southern states with highs in the low 100s and heat indexes in the 110-115 range...
