The cold air is here to stay. How about below average for 7 days??

The cold front has passed SWFL! I am sure you can tell when you walk outside. The wind is out of the north now ans it is bringing in very dry and cold weather in for the next few days.

As the front moved through this morning we had a little rain across the area. Tenth of an inch in Gateway and four hundrenth of and inch in Punta Gorda. Many location just picking up a trace of rain.

Overnight lows will be in the 40s. Some of you up north (DeSoto Co.) may see 39 degrees. But with plenty of sun it will make for a nicer afternoon. But highs only in the upper 60s d low 70s. This pattern will be with us for the next 7 days as the jet stream dips far south over Florida. So you can expect to see temperatures in the 40s overnight with afternoon highs in the low 70s. That is about 10 degrees below average!
