We're on track for a slightly cooler afternoon with highs in the mid to upper 80's at the coast and low 90's elsewhere. The Gulf breeze will be around for a longer period of time today helping to keep temps just a shade cooler. Tomorrow's weakening front brings a few isolated storms to mainly inland SWFL -- likewise on Thursday. We'll dry out on Friday and Saturday as high pressure briefly rebuilds and temperatures return to around 90.
It now looks like a weak cold front will move through here on Saturday night/Sunday morning with just a few clouds but, more importantly, slightly less humid air for Mother's Day. I'll have more on this on WINK-TV coming up at noon. Hope you can join us!
