The heaviest of the rain now stretches from east of Arcadia and west of Lake Placid through eastern Charlotte County and into Fort Myers/Cape Coral/FMB. Still only a few light showers in south Lee & Collier Counties but more on the way a little later this morning. Doppler estimates are over 1.5" of rain in far NW DeSoto County with a general .25"+ falling around US-17 through DeSoto and Charlotte Counties. Lighter amounts in Lee so far, but it's been raining for less time there.
Still the possibility of some gusty wind in these showers/few storms.. gusts above 40 a possibility. We're on track for the line to clear through by mid to late morning.. and for a clearing trend this afternoon.
