Set the umbrella by the front door before you head to bed tonight as you'll need it through the day tomorrow!

Scattered rain arrives by early tomorrow morning especially for folks along the coast. Showers and a few thunderstorms will continue to move on shore through our Monday as the energy from a stalled frontal boundary to the south and a developing trough of low pressure combine to make for a rainy start to the workweek. Rainfall may be heavy at times so leave plenty of time for commuting about town as you will likely encounter slick spots and possibly ponding on the roadways for your evening drive home. Rain continues Monday night and into Tuesday as the trough moves across the state. Rain chances begin to decline into Tuesday evening. Total rainfall accumulations likely near 1 inch with 2+ inches possible locally.

Stay dry!
