Morning Lows So Far

Clear sky, dry air and a relatively light wind all got together this morning to give us near record and record lows this morning. In fact, to our north, we had temps in the mid teens this morning in parts of the Panhandle and north Florida! Some local numbers that are just rolling in...

Arcadia - 25
Palmdale - 25
Clewiston - 25
LaBelle - 26
Lake Placid - 26
Lehigh Acres - 28
Golden Gate - 28
Fort Myers - 31 (Record)
Sanibel - 33
San Carlos Park - 34

We'll rebound into the mid to upper 50's this afternoon as the atmosphere begins to warm. Clear sky and high pressure nearby again tonight will give us another cold start tomorrow morning... in the upper 20's inland to the mid 30's along the coast. We should not see a hard freeze tomorrow inland. Some of our models even are indicating the possibility of a few high clouds overhead tonight which would also help keep us a bit warmer.
