85 degree Day #2, and the warmth will continue! Discovery Lifts off Tomorrow Morning.

What a beautiful day for the Easter holiday...bright sunshine and warmth with a high temperature of 85 degrees in Ft. Myers for the second day in a row! A ridge in the upper levels of the atmosphere and high pressure at the surface have set up shop and will remain in place through much of the work week which means...more warmth and sunshine in store!

Look for abundant sunshine and warm highs in the low to mid 80's once again for our Monday. Expect that gulf breeze to develop at the beaches tomorrow afternoon holding temperatures in the comfortable upper 70s to near 80 degree range along the coast...a great beach day if you're holiday weekend is continuing into Monday.

Sunshine and warmth continues through Wednesday with a few more clouds and more humidity on Thursday. First chance for an April shower occurs not until Friday in association with a weak cold front.

*Space Shuttle Discovery is set to launch from Cape Canaveral at 6:21 am Monday morning, so as you're waking up to start your week, take a peek at the northeastern sky, clear sky conditions will make for a great view of Discovery's ascent!
