Good morning! Our last little upper level disturbance is moving through this morning and helping to touch off of a few light showers across southwest Florida, mainly north of the Caloosahatchee. In fact, most of this activity is weakening as it moves inland because it's losing the fuel of the more unstable air over the Gulf of Mexico (this is pretty typical for early morning showers). This disturbance moves by this morning and a brightening trend is in the afternoon forecast.. with our sky turning partly cloudy inland and most sunny along the coast. We'll have a northwest breeze most of the day which means it's another day that temperatures will stay in the upper 70's at the beaches (likewise tomorrow.. although perhaps a tad bit warmer). Much warmer into the weekend as high pressure moves to our east.. upper 80's and more humid for Saturday and Sunday! See you on WINK!
