With high pressure over southwest Florida, temperatures have dropped to near the dewpoint meaning the humidity is near 100%. The wind is light and this is helping to allow areas of haze and fog form across the area, especially over inland sections. There is a dense fog advisory through 8-9 AM across Glades, Hendry, and eastern Collier Counties... with patchy haze possibly hanging on through mid morning.
Otherwise, another beautiful afternoon with an essentially cloud-free sky! Gulf water temps remain in the upper 60's (average for April 1st is in the lower to mid 70's).. and this will allow a 10 mph or so Gulf breeze to develop again later today. Temperatures range from the mid 70's near the beaches to the lower 80's inland.
