There is not quite as much lightning now as there was this morning as the upper level energy starts to pull away to the north and the line of showers and storms moves away to the south. That said, we still have quite a bit of heavy rain across the area and will continue to for the next hour or two. Drier air, though, is just to our north and should push in at midday and through the afternoon... giving us a clearing sky and a fairly nice late afternoon. Here is today's forecast:
