Good morning! After a very sunny Halloween weekend, we've got the chance of just a few isolated showers later today mainly along the Collier County coast. There is a bit of rain showing up on the radar this morning east of SR-29, but this likely is not reaching the ground as the air is still a bit too dry. Later today though, as more moisture returns from the southeast and the Gulf breeze kicks in, we should be able to squeeze out a few rain drops.
Election day should be mainly dry before the strongest cold front of the season begins to move toward southwest Florida Wednesday into Thursday. There is the possibility of a few stronger storms later Thursday as the front comes through before the coolest air since March arrives in time for the weekend. More on this as the week goes on!
