Rain inland now heading toward the coast. A big cool down on the way too. Details starting at 5 on WINK.

A trough of low pressure in digging in over Texas. This low will track across the Gulf the next few days. It arrives here in SWFL late Thursday and into Friday morning. We have some rain in the forecast for the next few days. A better chance on Thursday when the low and cold front pushes through. After the rain, the wind kicks up Friday afternoon and will bring in very cool weather starting Saturday morning. We could see lows in the upper 40's and low 50's then, highs in the 70's. A beautiful weekend ahead.

This same trough will keep Tomas well east of Florida
