Most the rain over with. A few left over showers moving thru. Get ready for cold weather this weekend. 40's in the overnight period.

Watching the cold front move through the area now. Looks like the front arrives about 4am Friday. So far we have seen a lot of rain in Charlotte County, over 7" in Englewood, Rotonda West 6.60" and Port Charlotte 5". Fort Myers getting about .70" and downtown Ft. Myers 1.43". Naples only getting .25".  On average we got about 1" across the area.

Behind the front we will see windy weather Friday as temperatures start in the upper 50's and low 60's but only get up to the upper 60's. It will be sunny, windy but cool. Saturday temperatures will start in the mid to upper 40's and only get to the mid 60's with windy weather too. Sunday we will break the record of 47 in Ft. Myers. We are forecasting 45 for a low. It will be sunny this weekend but don't be fooled, with the strong wind it will be a little chilly outside.

Warmer weather comes back Wednesday.
