The storm is bringing heavy rain this morning to Jamaica, eastern Cuba, and western Haiti. The flooding could potentially be devastating in Haiti, where they are still recovering from January's earthquake (thousands of homeless living in tents now). The storm eventually will accelerate northeast as this morning's strong cold front here picks Tomas up this weekend and takes it out to sea.
