The heaviest and steadiest of the rain is now pushing well east of I-75, especially lining up between Highlands County and Hendry County along US-27. There are still some pockets of rain near the coast, particularly near Bonita Springs this morning where heavy rain is falling as I write this (about 7 AM). There are also some new showers developing in the Gulf west of Charlotte and Lee that should have a chance to come onshore a little later this morning.
