Cold temperatures are in place this morning across SWFL as you start your Thursday! With some patchy clouds and an onshore breeze, it's a bit milder at the coast with temperatures in the mid to upper 40's there. Inland, where there is a mainly clear sky, we have temperatures in the mid to upper 30's. Tomorrow morning will be colder for everyone, in fact the coldest of the next 7.. as high pressure builds in overhead, the wind will be light and the sky will be clear. Temps will be near freezing inland (freeze warning for tonight most of our inland counties) and near 40 at the coast.
The warm-up, though, is still in the forecast! We get into the upper 60's Friday and Saturday with a mostly sunny sky.. and we should work into the low 70's Sunday with another day full of sun; it's our best weekend in quite some time! And, signs are, this is our last extra cold blast of the season.. I'll have more on that and some of the places I'm looking that tells me that in a little while. See you on WINK!
