Brian: Some patchy fog inland this morning..

Good morning! Thursday is starting off with mainly clear sky and cool temperatures across southwest Florida, with most places in the low to mid 50's this morning. Because of yesterday's light rain, some of the moisture left behind near the ground could help lead to some patchy fog inland as the temperature falls to near the dewpoint (humidity closing in on 100%)... along the coast though, it should be fog free.

For today, the second of two upper level disturbances (and last one!) will move through leading to increasing clouds this afternoon. This is a moisture starved system, though, and the chance of rain with it is much lower than yesterday. That said, there could be a couple of light showers near the end of the day. The upper disturbance moves through tonight and by tomorrow it's mostly sunny and we begin a warming trend. Temperatures will rise into the mid 70's Friday.

This weekend marks the first weekend of spring (equinox is at 1:32 pm on Saturday, when the sun is directly over the equator).. and the weather will cooperate! Mostly sunny for Saturday with highs in the upper 70's.. Sunday warm & breezy ahead of our next front with highs in the lower 80's. A few showers will move in with the front by Sunday night, but these shouldn't interfere much with your weekend plans!
