Brian: Unsettled weather pattern starting Friday..

Quick update on the extended forecast: A front will move into southwest Florida on Friday giving us a chance of showers and maybe a few thunderstorms. The thunderstorm chance will depend on how slowly the front moves and how many breaks of sun we can work in across inland areas... but a t-storm or two is not out of the question Friday afternoon. Some showers and clouds will linger on Saturday morning.. but by Saturday afternoon it should turn partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70's. Right now, the newest models continue to target late Sunday for our next chance of showers and storms.. in a pattern that looks similar to last weekend. Most of Sunday should be dry but near the end of the afternoon we should see more rain showing up on the radar and this rain chance lingers into Monday and perhaps Tuesday. Jim and Scott will have more on your forecast tonight starting at 5!
