This morning marked the 32nd morning of the year with low temperatures below 50 degrees in Ft. Myers! And tomorrow morning will make number 33!

A cool air mass associated with high pressure will remain in place today and tonight. A mostly clear sky and decreasing wind speeds will reinforce the cooling, allowing overnight lows to drop to chilly levels once again tonight. Expect lows in the mid 40's along the coast to low to mid 30's inland! A Freeze Warning has been issued by the National Weather Service for Glades, Hendry, and inland Collier counties from 4am-8am Friday. And don't be surprised to be greeted by some patchy frost in our inland communities by tomorrow morning.

After the cold start to our Friday morning, expect a slightly warmer afternoon with highs in the upper 60's under plentiful sunshine. A sunny sky will dominate through the weekend as well with high temperatures warming to low to mid 70's by Sunday afternoon. Now that's more like it!

Enjoy the sunshine!
