After highs in the upper 60's and low 70's for much of southwest Florida today, we're dropping steadily tonight with a clear sky and a weakening wind. Temps right now are in the mid to upper 40's in a few inland spots.. and in the low 50's elsewhere. We'll wake up to temperatures in the upper 30's inland and 40's along the coast tomorrow morning. There could be some patchy frost inland first thing tomorrow.
The rest of the forecast from my last post is pretty much on track. I've upped temperatures just a bit for Wednesday, into the low 80's, as it looks like much of the moisture with our next cold front will still be well to the north -- allowing for more sunshine. Into Thursday, that front will bring scattered showers.. stall across the area.. and potentially help drive another round of some rain Friday afternoon as an upper level disturbance moves by. A stronger front gets here on Saturday with cooler temperatures and, potentially, a chilly Sunday afternoon.
See you on 6 TV right now.. and WINK at 11!
