Brian: Rain has moved out.. drier air moving in.. breezy & cooler today

This morning's rain has moved over to the east coast as a cold front continues to push farther away from the area. For the rest of the afternoon, clouds will gradually break.. leaving us with a partly cloudy sky. The breeze will pick up and it's a cooler day -- temperatures will stay in the low to mid 70's.

Overnight, high pressure builds in from the west and stays with us through Thursday. As it moves to the east, we'll get warmer each afternoon.. from the mid 70's tomorrow.. to near 80 Wednesday.. to the low 80's on Thursday! There will be some cool mornings though.. as a clear sky and light wind come together to lead to morning lows in the 50's (and some 40's Wednesday morning inland).

The next chance of rain gets here on Friday with a fairly weak upper level disturbance. Even though the upper level disturbance is weak, there will be a lot of low level moisture back in place and there could be some areas of heavy rain at week's end. We'll keep an eye on the forecast models over the next few days and refine this forecast.

See you on WINK in a few minutes with more on your forecast!
