As the large-scale atmospheric pattern we've been locked in for the past several weeks begins to change, gradually warmer weather will work into SWFL. The weekend will be gorgeous, hope you get a chance to enjoy mostly sunny weather and temperatures in the mid 60's tomorrow, low 70's on Sunday. We'll add some more clouds to the mix on Monday as a new low pressure area develops in the central US and the low level moisture increases... but we'll also add several degrees to the temperature - mid 70's!
There is a slight chance of a few showers on Tuesday afternoon and Wednesday as an upper level disturbance moves by to the north; with chilly Gulf temps, an increase in moisture and an upper level disturbance.. we could see a few Gulf breeze-type showers develop. A better chance for more widespread rain Thursday night and early Friday as a cold front pushes through. Out ahead of that front, though, we climb to near 80 Wed. and Thu.! Signs are pointing toward another push of cooler air into the area for next weekend, but not of the "extra cold" variety.. we'll keep watching it for you. Have a great weekend!
