The tornado watch continues for Collier County until 11 AM, although it still appears the severe weather threat has long sine passed. There is a line of showers (with some embedded heavier rain) pushing into the far eastern Gulf and about to move into coastal Charlotte and Lee right now. This should be the last bit of rain to move through... with coastal sections of Lee, Charlotte and eventually Collier drying out by late morning/early afternoon.
The wind will pick up behind the cold front from the northwest.. and we end up with some sunshine to end the day. Temperatures today will stay in the low to mid 70's. Tonight, as high pressure builds in, the sky will clear and tomorrow starts cool.. in the mid 50's with afternoon highs in the mid 70's. High pressure will sit right over SWFL Wednesday and Thursday, meaning cool mornings, warm afternoons, and very sunny weather are in the forecast.
By Easter weekend, that high moves off the east coast leading to warmer and more humid weather.. with highs in the mid 80's. Easter weekend looks dry though!
