Brian: Mostly sunny today, highs in the low to mid 70's...

High pressure will nose in from the west later today, helping to scour out some of the low clouds that are around near daybreak this morning. For the afternoon, there will be just a few high clouds around. With a northwest wind, we'll stay a little cooler at the beaches once again -- near 70.. but inland we should manage mid 70's.

Tonight, as that high moves overhead, we'll see the coolest night of the week with lows in the 40's inland and low to mid 50's at the coast. Tomorrow, we'll lose the onshore breeze for most of the day (except for a late PM sea breeze), allowing everyone to warm into the 70's to near 80 degrees! Warmer still for Thursday with highs in the low 80's. Our next chance of rain gets here by midday Friday as a weak front moves into the eastern Gulf. We could see a few heavier downpours and thunderstorms Friday afternoon. Like I said yesterday, it will stay warm though with temperatures close to 80 even with the rain chance!

Much more on your forecast on WINK in just a few minutes.. see you there!
