Good morning! We're starting with a few light showers along the Lee and Collier coasts this morning as our pattern starts to undergo a transition that will favor more coastal showers and storms over the next several days. Finally, a typical rainy season pattern is about to become established. While the radar region-wide may not be as active today as in recent days -- drier air is pushing in from the north -- the change will be in where we find those late afternoon and early evening storms. Plan on the best chance of rain along our southern coastal areas, like south Lee County and Collier County. The chance of rain remains in the isolated category Wednesday and Thursday before more moisture arrives Friday with an increasing chance of showers and storms.
