Heavier showers and storms are moving through Hendry and Glades Counties now, headed toward Lake Okeechobee. Heavier rain will approach Moore Haven and Clewiston between now and about 5 PM. Elsewhere, there are isolated showers and storms along and east of I-75; everything is headed inland with time. There is also a thunderstorm outflow boundary (a mini-cold front that can potentially serve as a focus for additional thunderstorm development) located from the Tampa area south to around Port Charlotte. I'll be watching this later this evening for the possibility of additional thunderstorm development.
